Accounts Receivable Clerk - Central London - Hybrid working
A fast growing PE backed business, with a strong presence in its sector is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join its head office finance team in London. This is a key role supporting the wider finance function, with a strong focus on invoicing accuracy, credit control, and maintaining positive client relationships.
The Role:
Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for issuing accurate invoices, monitoring accounts receivable, managing aged debt and ensuring timely payments from clients. You will also support financial reporting and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and issue accurate sales invoices in line with agreed schedules and customer contracts
Liaise with internal teams to resolve invoice discrepancies
Monitor customer accounts and chase overdue payments professionally and proactively
Maintain detailed records of client communications and outstanding balances
Prepare regular reports on aged debt, invoicing, and cash collections
Support month end processes and audit documentation
What is required:
Proven experience in accounts receivable and credit control
Strong invoicing knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles
Proficiency with financial systems such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills

A fast growing, private equity-backed group headquartered in London is seeking a Management Accountant to join its expanding finance team. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this traditional Management Accountant role will focus on delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, streamlining processes and providing actionable insights to support commercial decision making
With ongoing growth and transformation across the business, this is an excellent opportunity for a finalist or qualified accountant who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to play a key role in developing a maturing finance function.
The Role:
Lead the month end close process, ensuring timely, accurate journals, reconciliations and reporting.
Prepare management accounts, annual financial statements, and statutory reports with variance analysis and commentary.
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and intercompany balances.
Review revenue and P&L against budget/forecast with MDs, providing insights on performance and key drivers.
Delegate tasks to the management accountant and trainee accountant, without direct line management responsibility.
Prepare and submit VAT and ONS returns and support audit fieldwork to ensure robust controls and documentation.
Enhance accounting processes, internal controls and workflows, driving automation and best practices.
Support finance system implementation and broader compliance activities.
About You:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with proven experience.
Experienced in leading month-end and year-end closes, financial reporting and variance analysis.
Strong technical accounting knowledge and expertise.
Proficient in Xero and QuickBooks, with advanced Excel skills.
Focused on process improvement, implementing robust controls and efficient workflows.
Excellent business partnering, collaboration and communication skills.

The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a high growth, PE-backed SaaS company headquartered in London, with a global presence and an innovative, product driven culture.
The company is in scale-up mode with over 100 employees across international hubs, and the finance team is now looking to strengthen its capability with a technically strong Financial Accountant.
This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the VP of Finance and would suit someone with excellent attention to detail, strong consolidation and statutory reporting skills, and experience in both UK and US tax environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compile statutory accounts and manage the annual audit
Manage consolidation and intercompany accounting
Oversee UK Corporation Tax and US Income Tax filings
Lead quarterly consumption tax reconciliations
Support EU invoicing and VAT queries
Work on R&D tax credits and transfer pricing
Manage various finance admin tasks (e.g. SOC2 compliance, insurance, ONS surveys)
Act as a point of contact for Private Equity stakeholder reporting
About You:
ACA / ACCA qualified, ideally qualified in practice with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in industry
Someone who has already navigated the practice-to-industry transition and is confident in a fast paced commercial environment
Experience compiling statutory accounts and dealing with external auditors
Knowledge UK & US tax - Advantageous
Confident working with financial systems (NetSuite experience essential)
Highly organised with a proactive, flexible mindset
Able to thrive in a scale-up business where systems and processes continue to evolve
