About the Role

Financial Accountant – Growing SaaS Business (Private Equity Backed)

Location: Central London (Hybrid – 2–3 days office)
Salary: Circa £75k + benefits 
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

 

The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join a high growth, PE-backed SaaS company headquartered in London, with a global presence and an innovative, product driven culture.

The company is in scale-up mode with over 100 employees across international hubs, and the finance team is now looking to strengthen its capability with a technically strong Financial Accountant. 

This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the VP of Finance and would suit someone with excellent attention to detail, strong consolidation and statutory reporting skills, and experience in both UK and US tax environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compile statutory accounts and manage the annual audit
  • Manage consolidation and intercompany accounting
  • Oversee UK Corporation Tax and US Income Tax filings
  • Lead quarterly consumption tax reconciliations
  • Support EU invoicing and VAT queries
  • Work on R&D tax credits and transfer pricing
  • Manage various finance admin tasks (e.g. SOC2 compliance, insurance, ONS surveys)
  • Act as a point of contact for Private Equity stakeholder reporting

 

About You:

  • ACA / ACCA qualified, ideally qualified in practice with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in industry
  • Someone who has already navigated the practice-to-industry transition and is confident in a fast paced commercial environment
  • Experience compiling statutory accounts and dealing with external auditors
  • Strong UK & US tax knowledge
  • Confident working with financial systems (NetSuite experience essential)
  • Highly organised with a proactive, flexible mindset
  • Able to thrive in a scale-up business where systems and processes continue to evolve
