A diligent Financial Accountant is required by a rapidly expanding, VC backed business based in Central Brighton.
Reporting to the Controller, the Financial Accountant will be primarily responsible for delivering the accurate analysis and necessary financial reporting required to determine the operational performance of the organisation.
Financial Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Preparing accounts and financial statements across a number of international entities in accordance with various legal requirements.

Providing key stakeholders with astute, monthly reports and associated commentary/recommendations

Proactively identifying risks associated with fluctuating foreign exchange and international banking procedures
-
Resolving all technical accounting queries
-
Stringently monitoring working capital - identifying risks and opportunities
-
Performing balance sheet reconciliations
-
Deputising for the Financial Controller by liaising with all necessary, external third party advisors
-
Assisting with the implementation of new accounting software
-
Duly completing all necessary tax returns
-
Delivering ad hoc project work and associated process improvement related activity when required
Candidate Requirements:

Recently qualified or finalist level finance professional (ACA or ACCA)

Strong, previous technical accounting and reporting experience
-
Highly proficient with Excel and finance systems generally
-
Emotionally intelligent with first class communication skills both written and oral

Able to work self sufficiently whilst managing a busy, varied workload

Confident in working alongside and influencing senior stakeholders

Senior Financial Accountant Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Group Controller, the Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for assisting with a crucial systems implementation whilst enhancing critical processes as part of a wider change management programme.

An outstanding telecoms business currently experiencing high growth requires a Business Assurance manager to be based in Hertfordshire.
The Business Assurance Manager will manage a team to deliver financial/non-financial objectives and lead the revenue enhancement activities in a defined functional discipline or cross-business processes. Working closely with operational, Billing, Products and Finance units, you will carry out key analysis supporting business improvement approaches and delivering revenue growth, whilst also implementing/managing initiatives that will measurably increase revenues, reduce costs, improve organisational efficiency and improve productivity.
Business Assurance Manager responsibilities:

Identification of Revenue Leakage opportunities through E2E product and service tracking and analysis

Produce proof of concept reconciliation and data analysis in order to quantify and qualify the margin improvement opportunities

Act as a Concept to Market subject matter lead and represent Revenue Assurance in particular projects driving product launches and system changes

Coordinate the submission of Revenue Assurance Business requirements for conversion to relevant STORM and CE stories to the new projects and changes to existing OR processes and systems

Initiate Business requirements and CR to improve the current control coverage in RAID (previous tool MoneyMap) and any other relevant control activity, systems & tools

Interim Finance Systems Transformation Lead - London - £Competitive Daily Rate
Position Available
A high calibre Finance Systems Transformation Lead is required by a market leading services business based in Central London. Highly competitive daily rate on offer / 18 months contract.
Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Systems Transformation Lead will be primarily responsible for the end to end delivery of both a new accounting system and a new business intelligence tool. From design through to RFI and finally implementation, the Finance Systems Transformation Manager will be integral to the success of delivering these business critical projects to tight deadlines.
Finance Systems Transformation Lead Responsibilities:

Immediately work towards understanding current finance systems capabilities and knowledge across the entire finance piece whilst defining the new roadmap moving forwards

Define the scope of the implementation project and gain organisational ‘buy in’ from a systems perspective by working across the finance spectrum to deliver confidence

Successfully collaborate with key stakeholders to identify current market trends and systems products that are fit for purpose in maximising the potential of the finance team

Supervise the RFI process in identifying the necessary systems that will be utilised for finance automation and transformation across both accounting and business intelligence systems

Once tools are identified work with finance and operational teams to test the effectiveness of systems and associated controls
